The Role: Retail Account Manager - Western Cape

We're seeking an ambitious Retail Account Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in expanding our presence in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing our retail accounts, collaborating closely with both new and existing FMCG brands and local merchants to drive growth and maximize market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail partners in the Western Cape.
• Identify new market opportunities and on-board new accounts to broaden our network.
• Work closely with FMCG brands to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure the achievement of business goals.
• Analyse performance data to inform strategies and improve sales outcomes.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements aiming for the best possible terms.
• Deliver comprehensive reports on account status, sales results, and market insights.

• Demonstrated experience in Retail Account Management, preferably within the FMCG sector in the Western Cape.
• Expertise in building and cultivating long-term client relationships.
• Proven ability to strategize and execute growth initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into action.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Aptitude for working in a high-paced, evolving environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
