Retail / Wholesale General Manager

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Honours in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role with proven experience in wholesale or distribution management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• In-depth knowledge of wholesale industry practices, trends, and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP software
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability & meet or exceed sales targets, increasing profit margins
• Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including sales, procurement, warehouse management, and customer service
• Manage and motivate a team of Sales Representatives, Warehouse & Administrative personnel
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Customers, Suppliers, and other Stakeholders
• Monitor market trends and Competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Ensure market share growth & successful implementation of competitive strategies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to assess branch performance and identify areas for improvement (financial KPIs, cost-saving initiatives)
• Develop and implement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Resolve Customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute long-term business strategies & ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives & achievement of long-term goals
