Henwil was established in 2002 as an abattoir when financial difficulties threatened its existence. The 13 chicken farmers who depended on the abattoir then established a company and bought the facilities to become stakeholders in the truest sense of the word. Following a R100 million expansion project funded through a combination of accumulated reserves and loans:Minimum Requirements Grade 12 is a requirement. A relevant qualification in Sales and Marketing will be advantageous. Experience within a retail environment will be advantageous. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good organization skills. Excellent people skills and customer driven. Must be able to multitask and perform under pressure. Hardworking, honest and self-motivated. The ability to 'get things done' and to think like an entrepreneur. Must be consistent and persistent in area of work. Effective persuasion skills. Duties and Responsibilities Mainly focus on the NWK outlets selling Henwil products. Track sales activities and report back regarding progress made to meet sales targets. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Ensure deliveries are made timeously and that selves are stocked sufficiently. Maintain, report on, and analyze the effectiveness of Sales and Marketing related tasks and projects. Assist where required to ensure good customer relations. Manage promotional and branded item inventory. Identifying new opportunities. Provide daily feedback on targets and goals. Logistic planning between the Abattoir and Retail. New business development for the DC.
