Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to compliment our team of committed 'Gawksters' whose primary objective is to oversee Gawk's supply chain and logistics processes in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. The duties and responsibilities of the incumbent in conjunction with a warehouse assistant will be the following: Responsible for Inventory Management

• Stock control, monitoring and systems update
• Picking and preparation for Orders
• Receiving and Dispatching
• Cycle Counting & scheduled Stock Takes for Stock Record Accuracy
• Reports & Investigations on regular intervals
• Returns management
• Optimizing Returns handling to eliminate inventory losses.
• Liaison between Customers, Service providers, Sales Team & Internal stakeholders

Responsible for Distribution Services

• Delivery Scheduling with Customers & Internal stakeholders
• Order Picking according to schedules per Customer
• Liaising with Internal stakeholders on distribution schedules, bookings, progress,

timelines & efficiency

• Co-ordinating & liaising with Transport / Logistics Service Providers on Distribution
• Co-Ordinating with Internal Sales on Orders, Picking, Fulfillment, Scheduling & Distribution
• Liaising with Procurement on Collections, optimizing the Supply Chain from Sourcing to

Delivering across Site

• Reports & Investigations on regular intervals
• Facilitation and preparation of export orders to specific standards

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Matric (minimum)
• Computer Literate
• Minimum of 3 years experience in this field
• Relevant qualifications /certificates
• Literate in typical inventory and distribution systems and processes
