ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER R25k R23k pm SOMERSET WEST

OPERATIONAL FINANCIAL DUTIES:

• Daily invoicing to the foreign clients based on info from the Sales Team
• Sending out the invoices
• Printing and allocation of "dealsheet" on the system
• Send out the download spreadsheets
• Freight costs from the Shipping Lines allocate to the relevant discharges
• Generate weekly payment advice for payouts
• Sending out weekly payment advice proof of payment
• Allocation of payments on QX (operational system) against the relevant debtor.
• Follow up outstanding balances with Debtors.

STATUTORY FINANCIAL DUTIES:

• Allocation of ZAR & Currency deposits against the cash books on Pastel
• Allocation of Ad Hoc costs against the bank and or Creditor on Pastel.
• Assist the Financial managers with End of Month procedures.
• Assist the Financial managers with Annual audit recons (debtors/creditors/Bank)

AD HOC DUTIES

• Generate statistics from BI program as requested.
• Daily / Weekly filing of paperwork.
  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Finance Diploma or similar
  
• 25 years revelvant experience
