Business Manager - Manufacturing

SUMMARY: A world leader in the production of ostrich meat and products is seeking a Business Manager for their Feathers Division to leverage their understanding of the ostrich feather industry and operational processes with the aim to develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Business Management
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the business environment, with exposure to marketing and sales will be required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to effectively communicate safety-related information to diverse audiences will be required for this role

• Learning and comprehending the intricacies of the ostrich feather industry, including supply chain dynamics and operational processes within the feathers division processing facility.
• Developing into a global marketeer of ostrich feathers, leveraging acquired competencies and qualities.
• Managing all aspects of business processes, including financial, operational, marketing, and sales processes.
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve objectives, maintaining current markets and expanding to new buyers.
• Engaging in international travel for liaison and negotiation with feather buyers.
• Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
• Utilising negotiation skills to facilitate business deals effectively.
• Collaborating within a team environment while also being capable of independent work as required.
