Job Description - Call Centre Agent - Insurance Sales

We're searching for people with natural sales talent. You're comfortable and excellent on the phone, and you've demonstrated success selling insurance products. You're goal-oriented, and most importantly, you believe in yourself! Join our vibrant team to experience exceptional training, mentoring, a company, and professional support.

As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for delivering exceptional sales service resulting in the generation of business from new and existing clients, therefore contributing to the company's profitability and growth.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Well-spoken with excellent presentation and communication skills (telephonically and written)
  • Presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of financial service products (Advantageous)
  • Computer Literate (MS Office, Email and Internet)
  • Demonstrate sales behaviours (deal with difficult clients, competitive, achieving, persistent)
  • Excellent compliance and quality assurance.
  • Use of effective probing and questioning technique

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years Call Centre experience. You would be selling short or long-term insurance.
  • Matric (Grade 12) Essential
  • RE (Advantageous)
  • FAIS requirements based on DOFA date (Advantageous)

Benefits:

  • Basic + Commission
  • Weekly Incentives based on performance.
  • Basic + Commission + Weekly incentives = potential earnings of R15 000 – R18 000 per month
  • There is a promotional structure which is assessed every 6 months, should you achieve your target successfully for a period of 6 months, you move up the promotional structure which in turn means that your salary increases, and you will get added benefits. (this will be discussed in depth during the initial interview)
  • Training is provided.

Other:

  • Vernacular languages: Sotho, Pedi, Tswana speaking.
  • Be able to start 1 June
  • This is an On-Site position (not hybrid)
