SUMMARY:
Multi-national sales and distribution concern has an opportunity for a B.Com and articles candidate with 2 to 3 years commercial experience. POSITION INFO:
The main responsibilities would include Treasury and Banking, General Accounts Payable, Accounting and Financial Analysis.
Treasury and Banking
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Weekly cashflow forecasts
- Schedule bank and payment runs
- Check credit card transactions General Accounting
- Manage all AP and bookkeeping functions
- Oversee local payments and forex (intercompany)
- Review monthly recons of supplier accounts
- Oversee asset registers and compile monthly depreciation
- Oversee maintenance of supplier master data BBBEE
Manage and close open internal and external audit findings
Monthly VAT returns
Assist with income tax and queries Accounting and Financial Analysis
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet recons
- Monitor monthly expenditures
- Post financial transactions SAP highly advantageous
B.Com Finance degree or similar
