This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

You will be focused on solution selling – selling across HPE products, services, software, or solutions to customers, both directly and indirectly. You will need to be customer-obsessed and have advanced subject matter knowledge to manage complexity across all our sectors including Value Added Resellers, distributors, SI’s, ISV’s and managed service providers where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
You will lead and provide expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Constantly represent the organisation to external customers/clients and exercise significant independent judgement within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
On a typical day as a Partner Business Manager, you would
- Serve as a trusted advisor and expert in the partner ecosystem in alignment with HPE business priorities
- Create a business plan aligned to partner and HPE priorities and actively drive execution thereof
- Drive end to end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline and lead data-driven sales efforts with the partner
- Articulate both HPE global and local business strategies to effectively sell with, sell to and sell through the partner, creating a scalable selling ecosystem
- Tailor solutions and activities to influence the broader partner ecosystem Develop a thorough knowledge of partner priorities, industry trends, IT landscape, IT investment strategy, HPE priorities and HPE technology and communicate the value of the portfolios and solutions to better differentiate HPE
- •Demonstrate business and sales leadership by building mutually beneficial, executive-level relationships with one or many Partners to grow HPE market share
- Coordinate and execute HPE activities with the Partner, leveraging HPE specialists when needed
- Drive and Lead engagement cadences regarding sales education, marketing, executive briefings, proactive forecasting, and business planning
- Drive HPE marketing strategy and execution through the customer
- Drive account mapping process with the partner and HPE sales team to align field sales
- Promotes increased value to HPE for pipeline and revenue/profit growth while leveraging the collective strength of partner ecosystem
- Lead and implement HPE strategy, programs, and financial outcomes and build partner loyalty to HPE
- Influence partner to drive an increased number of sellers, solution architects and other partner resources to HPE portfolio
- May recruit and develop business relationships with new partners, working to increase partner commitment
- May spend time monitoring partner sales floor to help develop the pipeline

If you are...
- A university or bachelor’s degree graduate or have equivalent experience
- Typically, 6 -10 years of selling experience at end-user or account or partner level
- Experienced with selling to partners in a complex environment
