Based out of our Johannesburg office, you will play a key support role for customers of our intuitive open-pit mine planning solution, Micromine Alastri. In this role you will provide technical support, pre-sales assistance, and client training for our clients.Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, AMEE, your key responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.Providing telephone, email, and face-to-face support for license holders.Conducting training with customers, as well as new in-house staff, including a mix of in-person and online sessions.Ensuring enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved.BETA testing new versions and products, providing feedback, and assessing impacts on support procedures and documentation.Helping the Sales team with technical support during pre-sales demonstrations, trade shows, and other events.About YouYou will have a background within operational mining roles, or alternatively, you will have experience working for a mining technology company.Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.Experience with Open Pit mining preferableAn understanding of/experience with mining concepts such as mine planning and scheduling.Expertise with using general purpose mining software.The ability to travel, nationally or internationally, to manage Micromine Alastri implementations (estimated 35-40% of the year)Next StepsReady to join the Micromine team?
