POSITION INFO:
Job Summary: As the Deputy General Manager at voco, you will play a pivotal role in the overall management and success of the hotel. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of guest satisfaction, and drive financial performance. This position demands a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality , an eye for detail, and the ability to inspire a team to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
  
  • Assist the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences in all areas of the hotel.
  • Oversee housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
  • Implement and monitor standards and procedures to ensure high-quality service.
• Team Leadership:
  
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance team skills.
• Financial Performance:
  
  • Assist in the development and implementation of budgets and financial strategies.
  • Monitor and control operational expenses.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Guest Relations:
  
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure that all guest interactions reflect the voco brand values.
• Compliance and Safety:
  
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain health and safety standards across the hotel.
  • Oversee security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with IHG standards and protocols is a plus.
