POSITION INFO: REQUIREMENTS - Matric, Degree in Marketing and/or equivalent certification in Marketing
- Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role working with digital marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of SEO and its overall impact.
- MS Office Skills – working experience required
- Knowledge and working experience of running digital marketing campaigns
- Strong creative skills and keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Fluent English (Professional written and verbal).
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Working experience with websites, social media, and other digital platforms
- Beneficial to have working experience on design programs
DUTIES - Identify the requirements of each assigned task and to ensure that the operational requirements thereof are attended to accordingly
- Identify whether the task requires the attention and/or assistance of design and graphic teams, or if the task can be completed in house in your own capacity as the Digital marketing Coordinator
- Coordinate as well as perform tasks that can be managed in house
- Develop, implement, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels such as websites, social media, email, search engines, etc.
- Create engaging and relevant content and have the skill to write, proofread, and/or edit creative and technical content across different mediums
- Work with Marketing agency’s/freelancers by creating informative briefs with detailed instructions to the agency(s) outlining the job role that they are required to perform and complete within the required timeframe.
- Create and manage products within the backend of our websites
- Need to have a strong understanding of SEO and its overall impact
- Coordinate with graphic/design teams and freelance agents to plan and develop content for various platforms
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends
- Ensure that content published on digital platforms meets the employer’s brand and product requirements.
- Provide ongoing feedback to ensure that all work done follows the company identity
- Provide support to sales staff when/if required
- Ensure that issues (if any) are escalated to management timeously and appropriately so that resolution is achieved before problems escalate.
- Provide assistance to co-workers within the Marketing Department, even if the tasks fall beyond the confines of your designated role.
- Assist with any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer’s business.
