Key responsibilities:

• Shape and execute the data strategy to align with business objectives and drive innovation.
• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve business challenges.
• Develop and implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, business science, information systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading and managing data science teams.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
• Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Kafka for processing and analyzing large volumes of data.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
