ICT Digital Engagement Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Westville is looking for a Digital Engagement Specialist

POSITION INFO:

The Web and Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating content and coding the design in collaboration
with Public Relations department through a process that delivers up to date high-quality creative content timeously. In addition to this, they will be
responsible for the for the design of prototype applications, providing structure and application development to meeting the social media needs of
the Fund and its stakeholders through collaboration with the public relations department.

1. Support of website content for marketing team
 Manage all search engine optimisation, indent frequent search queries and developing FAQ
 Assist with keyword research
 Apply best practice to design of product content
 Manage partnership with any external agencies and lead the implementation of agency deliverables
 Ensure electronic document quality and standardisation
 Website updates through WordPress, Divi builder, etc
 Appreciation of graphic design and designing templates
 Monitor foot traffic on all digital platforms
 Own and maintain website analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting
 Oversight and delivery of brand consistent communications for all digital platforms

 Develop and lead social media strategy and oversee all brand social media channels to increase website audience

 Research, design, execute, analyse and report back on all overall digital marketing strategy in line with the organisational objectives
 Develop and coordinate multimedia content, packages and release
 Manage the day-to-day handling of channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc
 Keep abreast with the latest social media best practices and technologies

2. Application development

 Create, maintain and implement the source code to develop mobile applications
 Design prototype applications for testing
 Provide the unit structure for the application
 Assist the public relations development team in the development of project plan
 Web- based programming languages abilities
 Browser testing using built in developer tools
 Sound experience with WordPress CMS using Advanced Custom Fields
 Knowledge of social media marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Falcon, MicroSoft CRM, etc

3. Data analysis

 Track, analyse and report success of web and application based public relations initiatives based on data received from various sources
 Assess tools to expand search engine optimisation (SEO) capabilities, research and tracking
 Assist digital marketing team to understand effectiveness of web and application based marketing campaigns and advise on best methodologies

4. Management and Maintenance of Systems
 Manage local internet file server
 Manage SQL security roles and permissions as required
 Create and maintain website including managing DNS settings, FTP accounts, as well as RSS and iTunes feeds.
 Maintain and update both the internet (.NET) and intranet web presence
 Targeted marketing campaigns
 Maintenance of digital signatures

5. Help desk functionality

 Assist with frequently asked questions (FAQ)
 Assist members with access problems
 Report on logins and detail updates

6. Compliance
 Set technical direction for all development, maintenance and architecture initiatives ensuring adherence to overall ICT architectural and solution requirements
 Ensure compliance with all Fund policies and procedures
 Ensure compliance with all Fund branding conventions and requirements
