Job Description - Junior Software Engineer


SUMMARY:
Qualification 

  • B.Tech/B.Sc + 3 years of experience 
  • B.Eng/MSc Hons + 3 years of experience 
  • M.Eng/Msc + 2 years of experience
  • Phd/D.Eng + 1y year of experience 
Experience in:
  • Programming in python, C++, Java
  • Pro typing, testing, deployment
  • Test-driven development
  • Quality assurance processes
  • Implementation of project & systems engineering  
POSITION INFO:
Responsible for:

  • Development of telescope lifestyle & hardware interaction
  • Deployment & processes including sites visits to Karoo.
  • Commissioning & lab integration of software
  • Ensure Coding standard compliance and coding reviews. 
  • Following system engineering principles. 
Must have knowledge in:
  • Modern software collaboration tools 
  • Python programming language.
Must have the ability to:
  • Troubleshoot issues methodically. 
  • Develop back-end software.
