Job Description

Provide Support to End-Users

• Collaborate with the EMEA IT Infrastructure team to ensure alignment with global IT strategies and standards.
• Manage and monitor the country's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance.
• Oversee the implementation of infrastructure projects within the country, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address infrastructure-related issues and requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the country's IT infrastructure setup, configurations, and processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure to make recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and support to local IT teams and end-users on infrastructure-related matters.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support of infrastructure components.
• Participate in IT audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Contribute to IT disaster recovery planning and execution as part of the overall business continuity strategy.

Inherent Requirements

Knowledge & Experience

• Matric or relevant Senior Certification equivalent
• Strong background in IT infrastructure management
• Experience in IT Infrastructure planning and development
• Must have a logistics career background
