Support to proactively assist sales staff with quotation verification for pricing and terms. This role is responsible for continuing to improve processes and working collaboratively with the Sales and Service teams to maximize the effectiveness of our overall service sales channels and deliver goals and objectives. Role & Responsibilities Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized. Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Picking orders as requested by management. Ensuring correct information is attached and moving completed orders to the delivery area. Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations. Scanning of all POD in the document retention folder Feedback to customers on delivery lead time Backorder status report communication to Field Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Management Work closely with Logistics to plan minimal stock holding required by specifics customers Coordinates with logistics companies, for deliveries to our offices. Great interpersonal and communication skills Prepare all orders for shipment High level of attention to detail Ability to Multitask Conduct stock takes Manage and control inventory within the warehouse Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received Other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager

RELATIONSHIPS

The Stores Intern reports directly to the Logistics Manager, Sub Saharan Africa. Internal Relationships: Logistics Manager General Manager Service Manager Finance Controller Commercial Associates Finance Support Associates Logistics Support Associates Field Sales Associates External Relationships: Customers Channel Partners Suppliers

MEASURES OD PERFORMANCE

Achievement of annual Performance for Growth Objectives set out Qualifications A minimum of Year 12 Education, (National Senior Certificate), preferably in administrative-based subjects. A minimum of 3 years of office administration experience. Working knowledge of general office procedures and processes. Good telephone & customer interaction skills. Good writing and grammar skills are required. Ability to work independently and prioritize work. Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the internet. Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle driving record. Experience with stock control. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Skills & Competencies Must have a valid driver's license, and a driving record, that is acceptable to Danaher Knowledge and use of personal computers, and common business software (MS Office) Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Employs global business knowledge to understand what works within and across countries. Creates, manages, and aligns work to the vision and purpose of the business. (Charts the course) Continually searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction and defines new and better ways of exceeding customer expectations (Drives Innovation and Growth) Uses logic and rigorous problem-solving (PSP) tools and methods to solve difficult problems and drive effective solutions.
