1 x Finance Intern (12 month fixed term contract) , Claremont Cape Town

An opportunity for a newly qualified graduate to support:

• the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, executing and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation

Please note that the successful candidate will need to be registered and complete a company-selected and SETA-approved learnership.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Intern

1. Assist Finance team (vendor recons, processing vendors invoices, disposal forms, treasury payments) 
2. Preparing vendor recons
3. Assist in preparing weekly payments batches
4. Assist in updating bank mandates and company secretarial duties
5. Ad-hoc duties
6. Attend and complete the company selected SETA approved Learnership

QUALIFICATIONS

• Newly qualified Graduate in Finance/Accounting degree/diploma 
• Above average communication skills (written/verbal/non-verbal)
• Numerical acumen
• Computer literate - MS Office, Windows
