We’re looking for a Software Developer Intern who can hit the ground running in assisting us with some great projects. Keep on reading to find out more about the role and the ideal candidate we’re looking for.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced development team and gain hands-on experience with the Realm Digital Tech Stack.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our development team to design, implement, and maintain software components of our conversational AI platform.

• Coding and Debugging: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and debug issues to ensure the stability and reliability of our software.

Our Tech Stack includes (but not limited to):

• .NET Core / C#

• Vue.js

• Nuxt.js/Next.js

• Docker and Kubernetes

• AWS

• React.js

• Php

In addition, you will have exposure to the following Tech:

• Substantial work experience in modern front-end Javascript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular)

• Knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, Tailwind and CSS (SCSS, or compiled CSS)

• Hands-on experience with unit-tests

• Good SQL database experience

• Solid understanding of git and how to use it in your daily workflow

• CI/CD experience

• Experience in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform

Key MICT SETA Learnership Requirements:

• South African Citizen based in Cape Town

• Completed qualification within IT or Computer Science

• A commitment of 12 months

• A Certified copy of the following documents:

• Identification Document

• All Tertiary Qualifications

• Matric Certificate

Please note that this is a MICT SETA Learnership, which will be registered and monitored by them.
