Sales Assistant Learner


 


Join our team as a Sales Assistant Learner, supporting the Key Account Manager and broader Commercial Team.


 


In this role, you will:


 


Assist with managing Customer project systems, ensure timely follow-up on key actions from Customer visits, and provide essential administrative and secretarial support.


You will be responsible for maintaining and updating Commercial and Customer systems, as well as managing Customer Master Data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms.


 


Responsibilities:


 


Sales Coordination:


 



  • Support the Sales Team with general CRM activities to maintain accurate and up-to-date Customer information.

  • Plan and coordinate Customer meetings and visits in line with business priorities and schedules.

  • Assist with preparing presentation materials for Customer engagements led by the Key Account Manager.

  • Manage & maintain accurate Customer Master Data and Business Information ensuring consistency, reliability, accuracy and compliance across all commercial systems and processes.

  • Responsible to keep the Projects Management system up to date with all minutes and actions for Projects and Customer visits.

  • Provide a full support function to the Commercial Sales Assistant.


Sample Management:


 



  • Request samples from production units through the CRM & Project Management systems for Customer briefs.

  • Coordinate and dispatch all Customer samples, ensuring that required documentation and certifications are included.

  • Manage and track all sample requests within the Project system, maintaining up to date records.

  • Communicate proactively with Customers to provide updates on sample status and delivery timelines.


 


Documentation Management:


 



  • Monitor Customer requests and emails and ensure that requests are managed and completed timeously or escalated to the Sales Assistant and Key Account Manager.


 


Secretarial:


 



  • Assist with travel arrangements requirements for the Key Account Manager.

  • Assist with actions for all project meetings as co-ordinated by the Key Account Manager and Sales Assistant.

  • Monitor project timelines and proactively send reminders to team members to ensure timely task completion.

  • Handle general filing and correspondence for the department, ensuring records are organized and up to date.

  • Maintain electronic filing systems for Customer documentation, visit reports, and product information.

  • Foster effective communication with cross-functional teams—including Commercial, Development, Marketing, CMI, and System Power-Users.


 


Academic Background


 


Business Administration Qualification (or equivalent).


 


Essential Skills


 



  • Able to work proficiently and accurately in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • High level of accuracy and concern for rigour.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.


 


Preference will be given to EE Candidates
