The Simulation & Modelling team perform simulation studies for various projects using a variety of software which includes Excel, Arena, Simio, AnyLogic & coding languages.

2026 Graduate Opportunity: Junior Simulation Engineer 

Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking highly motivated Graduates to join the Simulation Team in Johannesburg.

Applicants must:

• Have a passion about Discrete Event Simulation.

• Have a one of the below qualifications with a strong academic record:
  
  
  
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree in Operations Research.
  
  
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, Coding or Mathematics.
  
  
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Sciences degree in Industrial Engineering.
  
  
  
  

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Arena, Simio, AnyLogic, Python or Java will be advantageous to your application.
