At Luckybeard, our Beards have always been the backbone of the experiences we create. We are curious, generous, and slightly obsessive humans who care deeply about what we make and who we make it with. 
This is your chance to become part of the next generation of Beards who help build incredible brand experiences, ones that don’t just blow clients away but also create impact in the world around us.

What is Launchpad?
It’s a six-month paid internship and early-career experience for emerging talent. This isn’t a serve cappuccinos all day and watch from the sidelines kind of internship. From the moment you step into our Rosebank or Irene studio, you'll be part of the crew, collabing on real projects for some of the world’s most exciting brands, with the most talented and kindest humans you'll ever work with. And, you’ll be paid for it – no, not in whiskey – in Randelas, and like really well for an intern!

This year, Launchpad is open across seven disciplines:

• UI Design


• UX Design


• Engineering (front-end, back-end, full-stack)


• Project Management


• SEO


• Brand Design


• Motion Design

 
Who we're looking for
We're not looking for perfect – we're looking for people with spark. You've got a foundation in your discipline, whether you studied it, took a course or taught yourself from YouTube tutorials. You ask "why?" a lot. You love learning, are excited by good ideas wherever they come from, and you want to grow into the best version of yourself.

To apply, you'll need to

• Have foundational skills in one of the disciplines above, however you gained them


• Have little to no formal full-time work experience


• Be available full-time (8am–5pm, Monday to Friday) for six months


• Bring your curiosity, your energy and your whole self

When you apply, tell us the discipline you're applying for and please share your portfolio, GitHub or any work you're proud of. Rough edges welcome: we don’t need to see the final product – we want to see how you think.
