Marketing Graphic Designer Internship

The internship is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed graduates work experience in our company. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for Design. This person must be able to function well in a diverse team. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritise and be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Working with the Creative Leads/Designers to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns that are fresh, distinctive and effective.
• Crafting design across a wide range of media elements which meet the company’s internal and external communications needs. Including digital and traditional mediums.
• Responsible for implementation and consistent use of corporate ID across all executions.
• Constantly strive to understand the company better in order to develop more relevant and effective strategies, concepts and executions.

• Diploma or higher in Communication design or a similar creative field.
• Experience with: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Advantageous:

• HTML coding and After Effects experience an advantage

Enthusiastic in dealing with people in a stressful, deadline orientated environment is essential. Must be willing to travel locally when required and have valid driver’s license.
