Trainee Accountant

Our client is a reputable auditing and accounting firm based in Centurion, Gauteng, and provides accurate, ethical, and strategic accounting services to individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises. They are committed to excellence and are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Compilation of financial statements
• Audit fieldwork
• VAT and payroll reconciliations
• Stock counts
• Tax calculations
• Guidance to trainee accountants
• SARS audit assistance
• Monthly accounting
• General ad-hoc accounting tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric certificate (Accounting as a subject is a bonus)
• Willingness to complete SAIPA Articles
• Own reliable transportation and a laptop capable of running required software
• Willing to travel and sleep out when needed
• Fluency in Afrikaans is preferred but not mandatory

Compensation:

• R11 000 - R13 000 per month based on level of experience and learning progression

Working hours:

• Full-time, in-office position with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
