Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Kumba Iron Ore is seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and resilient, with strong time management and people management skills. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to ensure the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial records and ensure accuracy of financial data - Prepare and analyze financial statements to track the financial performance of the company - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Conduct financial audits and compliance reviews - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met - Provide financial analysis and reporting to management - Maintain confidentiality of financial information - Use accounting software to track and manage financial data

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Resourceful and resilient personality traits - Time management and people management skills
