Accountant - Remote Work

Truworths International is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a part-time Remote Accountant in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers - Analyze financial data and provide insights to help improve financial performance - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Manage payroll and tax reporting processes - Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field - CPA or other relevant certification preferred - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Driven and passionate about financial analysis and reporting - Strong leadership and persuasion skills
