Accounts Payable - Remote Work

As an Accounts Payable Associate at Rand Merchant Investment Holdings, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the company's accounts payable processes remotely from Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. This part-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices accurately and timely - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues - Assist with month-end closing processes - Prepare reports and assist with audits as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions

Requirements: - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities - Motivated and self-driven personality - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
