Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Accounts Payable specialist to join our team at Foschini Group. This is a remote work opportunity, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA, and is a part-time position suitable for entry-level professionals with 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities: - Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Adaptability to work in a remote environment - Previous experience with accounts payable is a plus
