Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team at AngloGold Ashanti in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to ensure the company's financial health.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports for management review - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making - Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies - Assist with audits and compliance requirements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial goals - Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity - Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 3 years of accounting experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Energetic and motivated personality - Strong cooperation and leadership skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
