Accountant

Job Description:

Multichoice Group is seeking a passionate and adaptable Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This is a part-time entry level position ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in accounting. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities: - Maintaining financial records - Preparing and analyzing financial statements - Assisting with budgeting and forecasting - Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable - Ensuring compliance with tax regulations - Providing financial analysis and reporting to management - Assisting with audits and financial reporting

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 1+ years of experience in accounting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficiency in accounting software - People management skills - Persuasion skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
