Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Tiger Brands is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Remote Accountant to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level Accountant with at least 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Prepare monthly financial statements and reports - Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions - Assist in budget preparation and monitoring - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Provide financial analysis and support to management - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Perform ad-hoc financial tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or similar certification is a plus - Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with remote work is preferred
