Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. 2. Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports. 3. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. 4. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. 5. Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures. 6. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits. 7. Provide financial analysis and support to management as needed. 8. Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 2. 1 year of experience in accounting or related field. 3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 6. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 8. Confidence to interact with colleagues, clients, and partners.
