Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Kumba Iron Ore is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to work from home on a part-time basis in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and possess the personality traits of resilience and confidence. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit soft skills such as project management and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records and reports - Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures - Reconcile bank statements and accounts - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Support the auditing process - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations - Collaborate with other team members as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3+ years of accounting experience - CPA certification preferred - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Resilient and confident personality traits - Project management and emotional intelligence skills
