Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Foschini Group in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the finance industry.

Responsibilities: - Process and reconcile invoices from vendors and suppliers - Prepare and submit payments to vendors in a timely manner - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end closing processes - Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues - Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Requirements: - Energetic and hardworking personality - Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus
