Accounts Payable

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at MTN South Africa in Soweto, Gauteng. As a part-time position with a high level of responsibility, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions - Prepare and process payments in a timely manner - Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting - Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues - Assist with audits and other financial projects as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and organization skills - Reliable and resourceful - Ability to think strategically and present information effectively
