Job Description:

The Accounts Payable position at Bidvest Group is a part-time, entry-level role that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, ZA. As an essential member of the finance team, your primary responsibility will be managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities: - Process invoice payments and prepare checks for approval - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions - Assist in month-end closing activities - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues or inquiries - Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounts payable processes

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Adaptability to work in a remote environment - Hardworking attitude and willingness to learn
