Remote Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

FirstRand is currently seeking a Remote Accounts Receivable Associate to join our dynamic team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This is a part-time position for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.

Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process remotely - Ensure timely and accurate billing of customers - Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies - Monitor customer accounts for late payments and contact customers for collection - Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes - Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Confidence and motivation to meet deadlines and deliver results
