Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Telkom SA is currently seeking a dedicated and confident Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This is a part-time position at the associate level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.

Responsibilities: - Process incoming payments on customer accounts - Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger - Generate and send out invoices - Follow up on overdue accounts and collections - Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records - Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting - Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies - Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders - Perform ad-hoc financial tasks as needed

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Creativity in problem-solving and planning - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
