Job Description:

Mediclinic Southern Africa is currently seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from patients and insurance companies. This position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable.

Responsibilities: - Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balances - Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner - Work closely with the billing and collections team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments - Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues - Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and improve collections performance - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Driven and reliable personality traits - Leadership and research skills are a plus
