Accounts Receivable - Work from home

Job Description:

Barloworld is seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to work from home. We are looking for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in accounts receivable who is reliable, energetic, and possesses strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities: - Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivable data - Prepare invoices and bills for customers - Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted - Follow up with customers to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies - Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review - Assist in month-end closing processes and reporting - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts receivable

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in accounts receivable - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Detail-oriented and organized - Ability to work effectively in a remote, work-from-home environment
