Online Accountant

Job Description:

As an Online Accountant at Tiger Brands, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and reporting for our online operations based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires at least 4 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: 1. Oversee financial transactions for online sales and services 2. Prepare financial statements and reports for management review 3. Monitor and analyze online sales performance 4. Manage online payment processing and invoicing 5. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting 6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations 7. Provide recommendations for improving online financial processes 8. Assist with budgeting and forecasting for online operations 9. Develop and implement internal controls for online financial transactions 10. Ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus 3. Confident and independent personality traits 4. Strong decision-making and planning skills 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel 7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively 8. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills 9. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure 10. Flexibility to work remotely and on-site as needed
