Online Operations Manager

Job Description:

The Foschini Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Online Operations Manager to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in online operations management.

Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the online platform, ensuring smooth running and efficient processes. 2. Manage a team of online operations staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support. 3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the online customer experience and increase online sales. 4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track the success of online operations and make data-driven decisions. 5. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and IT, to optimize the online shopping experience. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in online operations and e-commerce. 7. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints relating to online operations. 8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in online operations management, preferably in the retail industry. 3. Strong leadership and communication skills. 4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online analytics tools. 6. Confidence and motivation to drive results and meet targets. 7. Creativity and negotiation skills to innovate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
