Operations Associate

Anglo American Platinum in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, ZA is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Associate on a part-time basis. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the mining industry.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist with day-to-day operations of the mining site 2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations 3. Monitor and report on key performance indicators 4. Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements 5. Assist with site inspections and audits 6. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions 7. Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals

Requirements: 1. Strong presentation skills 2. Ability to think critically and solve problems 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 4. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask 5. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges 6. No prior experience required – training will be provided 7. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
