Operations Associate

Job Description: Imperial Logistics is seeking a part-time Operations Associate to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in operations management and a strong understanding of logistics processes. As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of our operations department.

Responsibilities: - Assist in coordinating and monitoring the flow of goods and materials - Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers - Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed - Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency - Provide support in analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement - Assist in resolving operational issues and ensuring customer satisfaction - Support in the implementation of new processes and procedures

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field - At least 4 years of experience in operations management - Strong organizational and communication skills - Confident and passionate about logistics - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong negotiation and decision-making skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
