Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and confident Operations Manager to join our team at FirstRand in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. This is a part-time position at a mid-to-senior level, requiring a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures - Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics - Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Manage and motivate a team of employees - Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals - Make strategic decisions to optimize operational efficiency - Report to senior management on operational performance

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field - Proven experience as an Operations Manager - Strong decision-making skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Experience with financial analysis and budgeting - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Cooperative and team-oriented mindset
