Remote Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Remote Operations Manager to join our team at Shoprite Holdings. As a leader in the retail industry, Shoprite Holdings values innovation, excellence, and teamwork. This part-time position is based in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA, and requires a candidate with at least 8 years of experience in operations management.

Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our remote locations - Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure targets are met - Lead and mentor a team of remote employees to drive success and growth - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall operations - Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures - Identify and resolve any operational issues in a timely manner - Continuously seek out opportunities for improvement and innovation within the operations department - Report to senior management on key metrics and performance indicators

Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in operations management - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Proven track record of driving results and achieving targets - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure - Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strategic mindset - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field (preferred)
