Operations Manager - Work from home

Barloworld is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from home in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in operations management.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity. 2. Manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing staff, budgets, and resources. 3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure operational goals are met. 4. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance processes. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication. 6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 7. Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. 8. Report regularly to senior management on operational performance and initiatives. 9. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. 2. Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of success in optimizing processes and achieving results. 3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 4. Resourceful and reliable, with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure. 5. Highly adaptable and creative, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. 6. Experience working in a remote or virtual setting is a plus. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools. 8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
