Call Center Representative - Remote Work

Job Description:

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated and experienced Call Center Representative to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. As an Associate Level Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls from customers and provide information, resolve issues, and address any concerns - Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries, confirm appointments, and gather feedback - Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times - Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with customers and establish long-term relationships - Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and find satisfactory solutions - Meet call quotas and maintain high levels of productivity and quality - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to work towards achieving team goals and objectives

Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role - Resilient personality with the ability to handle challenging situations with ease - Energetic attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer service - Strong planning and organization skills to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently - Excellent negotiation skills to resolve customer issues and disputes professionally and effectively - Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with call center software is a plus - Ability to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity and focus - Strong verbal and written communication skills - High school diploma or equivalent required
