Chat Support Associate - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are looking for a Chat Support Associate to join our remote team at Pick n Pay Stores in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. As a Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat interactions with customers. This position is part-time and at an Associate level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through online chat to provide support, answer queries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting customers with their inquiries and concerns - Utilize company resources and knowledge base to provide accurate information and solutions to customers - Identify trends and patterns in customer inquiries to improve processes and procedures - Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Meet and exceed performance goals and targets set by the company

Requirements: - A driven and adaptable personality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction - Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to think strategically - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in using chat support software and Microsoft Office applications - Ability to work in a remote setting and manage time effectively - Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and retail industry practices - High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
