Chat Support Officer - Remote Work

Job Description:

Sanlam, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Chat Support Officer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As an Associate Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating confidence and drive in providing exceptional customer support through chat services.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues through chat platforms in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with account-related queries, technical issues, and product information. 3. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex problems and provide effective solutions. 4. Maintain accurate and thorough records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of support services. 6. Stay updated on company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Adhere to company guidelines and protocols for handling customer interactions and data security.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer support or a related field. 2. Confident and driven personality with excellent communication skills. 3. Strong critical thinking and strategic planning abilities. 4. Proficiency in using chat support tools and software. 5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. 6. Familiarity with financial services and products is a plus.
